My fan/heater on my t350c has stopped working, been told its the resistor in the passanger footwell. TVR power has quoted about £150 to £200 to fix the old one, I was wondering if any one else has any ideas?

Thanks

If you want to look for a replacement part, maybe try Clevor Trevor:

http://www.clever-trevor.net/cars/4-t350.html

or Racing Green Parts shop:

http://www.thetvrshop.com/TVR/Parts/T350/g|.htm

or RaceTech Direct:

http://www.racetechdirect.co.uk/tvr-t350-parts.asp...

TVR Power do have an excellent reputation and their work is top notch.

If its the heater controller that has failed, which is common, there is a place in Luton that will re-furbish it for about £50 and turn it round in a couple of days. You can buy the resistors from Maplin for a couple of quid and DIY.

There is little in the way of labour to remove it, mine was stuck in on a blob of silicone adhesive! remove the connector and pull!
