Tamora Roof? any one got one cheap or point the right way

Hi all

Just got a nice little Tamora and sum little SH** has ran across the back of it and bust the rear screen off the stitching. NOT HAPPY
Any one know where i can get it repaired or replaced.

Don't know where you are in the land but oxted trimmers will sort it for you. My chim looked like new with a new rear screen.

Did see a post from Barry A. He had a nice job done for around £300. New rear window shape too.

I used Rawles near Alton, Hampshire for my Chimaera rear screen, and they did a good job of tightening up the hood on my Tamora last year as well adjusting the bonnet and fitting some additional leather trim. They specialise in Austin Healey's, but do quite a bit of work for Fernhurst for hoods and leather trim. Their number is 01420 23212. I also discovered on my last visit that they have their own rolling road as well.

Might be able to claim this through the windscreen section of your insurance - - they normally cover all 'glass' on the car.

I had a chimaera done for £125 about 2/3 years ago by a local trimmers here in Southampton.

Not sure the insurance company would buy that as its a plastic screen, i have been able (dont ask how!!!) to super glue it back. Just want to do the Goodwood day out sunday then i'll book her in and get it done. Thanks all for the posted.

Please post before and after pictures when done as i may replace mine in a couple of months.
