Last night my t350 cut out and then seemed to take on a mind of its own. It has, kind of flickered as i drove it in the past, maybe 3 or 4 times, but just a slight hesertation.
This time it cut out, then re-started, then cut out completely.
I was thinking loose battery/earth lead until it just started lighting up, then switching off as i waited for recovery.
Any ideas?

Same thing happened to me, turned out to be fused link in the wiring loom behind the drivers side footwell, but to be honest, it could be one of many things.

Best of luck and hope you find it.

Could be the 100a fuse under the airbox - if it had a crack it may be the reason why you had a few symptoms before it finally failed.

Thanks for the input, I'll check all of these, annoyingly just checked the battery terminals, didnt realise the 80amp fuse was there!
I had the air box off on Sat to replace oil pressure sender, so I may have knocked the 100 amp fuse. Can you tell me where this is please?
I think I'll order both fuses and the power relay tomo anyway.

Cheers, Dan

Fuse in the fuse box is for the Power steering. there is a 100A (that normally is upgraded to 125A) under the airbox in the black holder. There is another 100A fuse fitted in a holder in the Passanger side footwell against the bulkhead (this looks the same as what you need to find under the airbox).

They are std midi fuse, you can buy them far cheaper off ebay/via google that you will pay from a TVR indie. Always best to have a spare set too, just in case.

I had exactly this on my T350, exactly the same symptoms and it was 100 amp fuse under air box. Fitted 125 amp fuse and all was fine!

As i had never done it before it took me 1.5hr max.

Thanks for all the imput, i removed the pax footwell cover and just pressing the fuse brought the car back to life. I needed one as soon as possible so i've ordered one today and will hopefully have it up and running tomorrow.

More worryingly the heat from the burnt out fuse has slighly melted the plastic case?!?! I have to keep an eye it

Cheers all

The case holds the fuse in place, best buy some of these. They get old and manky or melt. Only a couple of quid and take no time to change as you have the fuse out. Again cheaper through fleebay that TVR indie
