Rolling road figures for standard 3.6 T350
Discussion
Just interested to know what power figures anyone has got with a standard T350 3.6 speed six on a rolling road.
As far as i know mine is standard other than an RG sports exhaust, no rebuild 2005 model with 42,000 miles. I took it to Surrey Rolling Road where it achieved 360.1 bhp at fly, 299.5 at wheels and 280 torque at fly.
I was quite happy with that and Surrey Rolling Road thought it was good, or this about right? Be interested to hear what others thought and had achieved.

To be honest, it sounds good. I really wouldn't have thought that many 3.6 engines make anywhere near 300 at the wheels without having had work done.
This is based on the fact that any number published by TVR was generally very, shall we say, 'punchy'.
My guess is that most are nearer to 250 than 300.

FWIW: most, if not all 3.6 S6 engines seem to be on the button. The 4l appear to be a lot more variable. The RV8s all appear to have been optimistic as do the Essex V6s. The 4.2 AJP V8s tend to vary and the 4.5s appear to be optimistic. This is based on the fact that any number published by TVR was generally very, shall we say, 'punchy'.

In short 300 at the wheels which is about 350 at the fly is what should generally be expected for a healthy 3.6 S6.
