Right guys finally got round to getting myself a fire extinguisher for the Tamora. I want to make sure before I get drilling through between the seats. I need to drill two holes to attach the bracket. I have attached a picture of where I want to secure it. Is it safe putting screws through in this area? Is there any wiring under there? Cheers in advance! If anyone has any pics of where they have located theres would appreciate any other inspiration.....

If your drilling the floor no worries just use 20mm self tappers no longer i can't see you would foul anything.
But if you drill the the back that's another story.smile

Have just got mine down the side of the drivers seat and the door seal.

Been there for 5 yrs and never had trouble with it sliding under my feet when breaking.

fitted my extinguisher there (in the pic) just using the self tap screws is more than enough and the FRP is thick enough to avoid any potential piercing of something important.

Hi Tranter5

I love the look of your leather upholstery. Is that factory fitted, or have you had it upgraded, it looks far superior to what I have in my Tamora.

You can peel away the carpet in the boot and have a look (at the vertical wall, anyway). If the speaker wires are there you will see them.

I drilled through the middle, between the speakers, for my dog harness attachment with no problems.

Mine looks similar to the OPs but is in Mulberry and at present, quite dirty. Mine (& I assume the OPs) is full hide which was quite an expensive option when new.
