Sagaris Rear Discs on T350
Discussion
It can be done
Was introduced to a great guy, Craig Taylor, who runs dynotorque in Birmingham. He has machined some simple spacers and was able to use the original hub carriers and brake calipers with the 298mm discs. Along with fitting the bigger Tuscan S discs to the front, my wheels are now considerably better filled. I say simple; apparently it was a real heart ache but the result is excellent.
Chatting afterwards, Craig suggested he could offer some interesting big brake conversions and modifications to use high quality, but significantly cheaper discs than the TVR norm. May well be worth getting in touch if this is something that interests people.
FYI

The other solution is to fit Tuscan 2 / Sag rear uprights and fit Sag rear discs directly to original hubs and use the 350 rear caliper. Know this as I have done to my 350 but the discs were from our friends at Hispec from a kit from a sag, problem is got stung 400 quid for the tuscan 2 bits, supply and demand and all that, rear discs came with the 360mm fronts I fitted from an eBay bargain some time ago.
The large rear discs really make no difference at all just look better, so its a personal choice thing imho. In no way suggesting you go with Hispec rear caliper, standard ones are more than up to stopping you rolling down hills and problems with their units have been covered significantly in the past. My discs are high quality and perfectly true now skimmed on the car recently.
