Decats on a Tamora

About to order ACT decats...before I do, has anyone got a set second hand they want to sell?

Secondly, are they difficult to fit?

I have some old cats that have had the insides removed if you or anyone else interested.

I have done this in the past on turbo cars...cheap way of releasing some power. Any downside to using these? are the ACT items optimised for flow or anything like that?

Kind of loathed to pay £210 for 2 flared pipes.

You get very little increased power by decatting a speed 6. Just a louder exhaust note that makes you think it got more. By removing the AC you will gain more than decatting.

don't care about power hike as the Tamora is quick enough. To be honest, I want volume and comedy flames.

I put RG sports cats on mine so I don't have to refit the cats when MOT time comes around, or find an MOT station willing to break the law.

I hated the noise when mine was fully decatted. Blueflame exhaust and decat to me just don't go together. But others might like it.

Mine is extremely noisy, with ACT decat pipes and a TVR Power back box, but strangely no flames according to those who have followed.

it'll be the same for me then. Maybe no flames due to better map/not running rich?

Can anyone say if stripped stock cat pipes would be any different whatsoever to ACT decats?

ACT's are much lighter that's all
