Depends on the relative values & conditions.

I've never liked the idea of straight swaps, I always think there is an ulterior motive.

Tuscan 2 S are highly rated and quite rare. Obviously depends on condition and mileage but i have seen them up for sale for 30k plus.

I think they look stunning but will feel different to the Tamora due to its larger size.

The guy said it was in excellent condition with only a few stone chips 29K miles 2006. He called me out of the blue, should have asked how he got my number!. I've spent over £50K (including purchase price) on my car to get it almost how I want it.

IF you had been thinking of changing your Tam for a Tuscan, it probably would have been worth at least looking into, but as you said, you've spent time and effort getting ur Tam exactly how you want it and aren't ready to change, so No was the right answer !

Just sold my T350C cry (only so I'm in the right position to buy a Sag - money burning a hole in my pocket - but still a sad day !! )

I've spent a lot on that T350C, making it look and drive just great, but I've wanted a Sag for some time.... If someone had rang me offering me a swop I would have been silly not to at least investigate, but I would imagine they would want cash aswell as my car !

If your profile is correct and you have the 4.5 power upgrade In your Tamora then I think you were right to say no, having spent so much money getting your car right, enjoy it for a while it must be a hell of a car with that engine in the Tamoradriving

If you are used to a 4-5 tam then the tuscan is going to feel a bit tame (not something you will hear very often im sure) and the Tam is the better handling car, which leaves it up to looks which is a personel thing. In time I think that the tuscan will be worth more than the tam even with what you have done as they seem to be more sort after but in saying that I would have the tam long before I bought a tuscan

It has a 4.5 upgrade but I've not driven it yet, it's still in the UK and will need running in before it gets it's final maps put in (Syvecs) and the traction control set ups. I haven't seen the car since mid December it's been to TVR Power, Central TVR, Racing Green and back to Central TVR in this time, and it's at Central TVR at the moment, (I think this is where the guy [Phil] has seen my car). Should be back to my UK address Thursday. But I'm not back in the UK until 17th May frown

Wow - difficult one. I'd guess the Tuscan 2 S may be worth more in the open market and I prefer them (obviously!) BUT and it's a big but, it may not be worth more to you. To have a car you spend a great deal of time and money getting something the way you want it then it may be worth more to you than any small monetary gain.

The fact you said no so quickly is probably a sign that you should keep yours and enjoy the efforts of all your hard work. driving

I think you would be crazy to make the swap... Especially considering all the money you have spent on the Tam.. I think once you drive it you will be smitten, Based on what i,ve heard/read about the 4.5 engine.
