They're mounted on a separate plate. Be careful as the wires to them are very thin but there's then a straightforward connector just inside the hub. I think I recall having to drill new holes through it but it wasn't difficult. Bigger issue is the boss - I have poor memory of how I dealt with this; others will help.

Go for it, it's a great improvement!!

You don't need to buy a new boss, you can drill and tap your existing boss or use one of these:-

Easy job to do. The old horn push won't fit the new wheel (its too small and sits inside the wheel) if you get a larger momo replacement, use a hot air gun to unstick the TVR logo on the old horn push then mount it to the new one with contact adhesive. You might also have to create a new earth point for the horn, just use a ringlet on one of the boss mounts.

The adaptor boss bolts to the existing boss (holes) then the wheel mounts to the new boss, thus the steering wheel ends up 10-12mm closer to you. Quick and easy = use the adaptor (I did this and have no problems with it) If you like playing with your tools drill and tap the existing boss to match the new wheel.
