Just into work in the drizzle so far. Appropriate as it was raining 7 years ago!

Will probably go home the long way. Forecast is 18 degrees later. drivingbiggrin

It's an anniversary thread, rather than a birthday one! wink

Thought it might be nice to have a positive thread instead of the more common doom and gloom or threads about dodgy reliability. They seem more popular though.

Mine had it's 10th birthday in Feburary and I still enjoy it now, wouldn't have a clue what I would change it for even if I did want to let it go. I still remember the day I picked it up with 7 miles on the clock, it's got 60,000 plus more miles on now.
We've had our ups and downs but the ups win out by far.

Hey Andy, I forgot that you got yours the week after I waved goodbye to the Tuscan. And said hello to the T350. We're still together too.

Hi Dom.

You're probably on double my miles now! Must be your longest TVR. Glad you are still going strong.

... Great news madbadger and a very nice Tamora to, may it continue for many many many many more years beer

I actually chatted with you a couple of years ago at Chatsworth thumbup

I'm into my 6th year of Tamora ownership now, after a 4.0L upgrade, and many mods later bounce and hope to continue for many more years clap

Definately seems to be a longevity amongst Tamora / T350 owners.

Is Dom winning?

Shorts/madbadger/Jasper Gilder - any chance of some photos of the cars so we can see how well they're wearing with age? I last saw madbadgers car at 50k miles(?) at Loton and it looked in very good condition still then, but I would be interested to know what you guys have spotted as potential long term weaknesses/wear points?

I also want to just look at pictures of properly used TVRs with a smile on my face... biggrin

I'll take some current pictures.

Generally car is in great shape. Interior is a bit marked. (Er - maybe partly down to the dog). Seat bolsters have a bit of wear on them. I've been through a few rear screens where they fold and the top section has some marks on it.

Otherwise the wiper arms have worn the ball joints and are a bit pants now. I use lots of rainX instead.

Definitely doesn't look almost 9 years old, though. They are built to be used.

Not really much good with technology, posting pics up etc. I really don't think it looks like it's done over 150k miles but if you come to any TVRCC trackdays you can check for yourself. Gear knob is a bit shiny and the luggage cover hasn't survived unscathed, apart from that it could be less than 50k.
