I am a little confused.

We're currently fitting a set (and an alloy rad) - but I am still unsure of where two of the hoses go? We have removed pretty much everything - using Graham Varleys utterly fantastic guide - but we still cant seem to see the two unknowns; One is a small diameter 90 degree section that from the website looks like something to do with a Serpentine Griffith?? I also have another that is a 'not quite straight' section that could almost be one of the pipes I can see, but is the wrong length and perhaps even too small a diameter?

Any ideas guys/girls?
Thanks in advance,
BCA

Ok, have been a retard. They need to be cut to varying degrees. Now worked everything out, sorted.

Err, no idea. Necessity for us. I suspect the old rad was ok and that the drivers side hose furthest forward, one mounted impossibly, with a jubilee clip adjustment the completely against the bodywork/ unreachable to adjust was to blame for the small leak. We deliberately bought the lot to get it sorted 100% no matter what for both peace of mind and to get to know it... We've also found a couple of things to attend to at service time/ adjusted a load of things.

Interesting car... still barely driven it, but we're now able to, safe in the knowledge that it has a lovely alloy rad and new hoses all round. We completely cleaned up steel pipes - suprising how corroded they get underneath the hoses around the joins - ours is a newer T350, an 05 car with 20k on the clock, worth looking at for others. We'll replace them with stainless pipes soon, intead I had to apply a tonne of elbow grease to get them back being decent. The whole job was relatively easy/straight forward, but pretty time consuming, mainly as it is new to us I guess? I feel it was worth it with a look towards the future, but I cant say whether others would.

With the help of the ever amazing Graham Varley Manual, we've had a little explore with the whole of the engine bay. We also sorted the aircon by changing the flap zero setting and generally poked about to work out how it all goes together. I do love that dash now too, depsite the rev counter going the wrong way! Pics/ further thoughts to follow... smile
