Wiper arm catching bonnet edge

Anyone else get this - I've loosened, re-positioned and re-tightened the offending arm but it's still happening?

I wasn't expecting this as the flat wipers I fitted reduce the angle of the arms, if there's any difference at all.

I suspect it's a quirk of slight variations in bonnet sizes and shapes?

Had this from new on mine - dealer had to re-profile bonnet edge and repaint to make it miss.

Looks like a job for the day I get the full re-spray done, which will be some time given that I had the nose done last year...

Mine too, re-postioned wipers, bought flat wipers and altered the offset on the bonnet catch. It still catches the bonnet edge

use rainx so dont use wipers.

Me too, on the list to bugger about with. Might try moving the bonnet as it also stands a little proud on one corner

No ammount of adjusting worked for me so I bought some of the velcro tape from BQ and cut a section of the loop side (the soft carpet like half of the velcro system) and stuck it to the bonnet, it's the perfect width and stops the rubbing.

I went down the Velcro route. Worked for me. Just need to replace it every so often.

Good one - I have some felt left. Btw rainx sounds like a plan as well although I've swapped my ebay 18" flat blades for a 17" and 19" Valeo ones and a pair of Clever Trevor wash pipes anyway because the ebay ones don't hold flush very well.
