dropped my sag to surface and design in blackpool for a respray due to a few marks and discolouration the car is in red glow pearl but after speaking to the guys there this paint is expensive and limited supply but they can get it but malcolm there said this colour does bleech and fade in the sunlight and this will happen again!!! so thinking of an alternate colour as close as i can to the red glow any opinions and ideas and thoughts would be gratefully recieved have looked at lots of colour chips whilst i was there and picked a nice red metallic but still unsure what do you think guys!!!

Nightfire red...

Only a cheap Rover colour but effective me thinks... and Red is the fastest colour of course...

It was originally Nightfire Red, full respray by Chris Gregory at http://www.autorefinishing.co.uk/ last summer. I asked him to make it a slightly deeper shade, so by all means give him a call I'm sure he will have it written down.

Good Luck.

Post pics when it's done !

Just be aware that Nightfire Red won't have the same brightness in sunlight. To save paint they can paint the car in Nightfire red or similar, then apply a coat of Red Glow. I know this works as it is how my front end was resprayed (chips and laquer was peeling around one headlight back in 2006 or so). Looks fine to me. Yes, the rest of the car has started to fade a smidge, but you can't tell unless you know, it is NOTHING like the fading of the original Rosso Red TVRs.
