Adjustable ride height?

I pulled the rear shock absorber out with the view to raise the Sag abt 1 cm.. I'd like just a bit more ground clearance.

I undid the lock nut quite easily.. but the thicker adjusting nut just doesn't move. Am I right in thinking you can wind it up and down to adjust the ride hide just like any other adjustable coil over shock.

Is my thinking correct??

Yes but they usually seize solid if not greased before being subjected to road rot.
I've shifted a pair but it was with the shock off the car in a vice with a heat source to help (and lots of penetrating fluid left on over night etc).
Once free remember to copaslip the threads for future tweaks.
