T350C Interior fans not working
Discussion
The interior fans in my car started working intermittently and then stopped working at all. The lights on fan/heater controllers are working as normal but no flow is coming out.
I am get an AC fault code.
Any ideas, the last time I took it for a service they mentioned a connection coming away but as far as I can see everything in the passenger foot well is connected.

Had the Tam at the garage today and they informed me that my fans were only working intermittantly, apparantly the part at fault is no longer made and therefore has to be sent away for refurbishment, the total cost for removal, refurb and refitting would be £150 - £200 inc VAT. Point to note, mine has no A/C so i'm not getting a fault code

If its the heater amp (see pic from Sag manual), it costs about £50 to get it done and there is a place in Luton near me that has been used in the past. Its in the PS footwell (look up under where the glove box is) mine was stuck on with a blob of silicone!Unplug it check the pins are all pushed home and its not started to melt. Plug it back in and check you have tight contact on all 4 pins might be all it needs, I fould a loose pin on mine, no problems as you described since!

the AC fault is a red herring because the fans were working despite this.

I think we may have it on that, the fans were working today on which to me suggests a duff connection somewhere. They suddenly kicked into life about 2 minutes into my drive.

10 min job to check & fix, just need a small screw driver to check the terminal pins. If you have a bit more time, I would remove and relocate it to under the glovebox. Its cooler up there and it will work better, plus you don't have to bend in half to fix it!the AC fault is a red herring because the fans were working despite this.

Graham i've only just seen this posting, that's very kind of you, thankyou very much. I'll see you tomorrow, you'll be in the orange Sag i presume.
I was at the Bear Inn, and tried to track you down, but hoped to catch you back at chatsworth.I was in that Audi estate thing, as orange sag is without gearbox, but hope to get sorted for tomorrow.
