vantage radio / sat nav problem?, any advice?
Discussion
just taken my car out this morning and the radio and sat nav unit switch off then back on again approx every 45 seconds of there own accord ?. the radio comes back on instantly but the sat nav has to re boot every time.(the screen doesnt retract it goes to the aston logo screen then back onto the map)
i ve tried turning everything off, used cd and radio functions, re started it, closed down the sat nav etc, but no joy.
very annoying . i have the premium warranty but i believe that the radio and sat nav are not covered?
any ideas?, is it worth disconnecting the battery briefly , or is that a waste of time?
any help would be greatly appreciated.

is your car a coupe or roadster, have you had any other strange occurrences with such as the speed indicator also going off, blue tooth not functioning I would think this could be a can network error especially if it is a roadster, disconnecting the battery and leaving it disconnected for a while will cause everything to reboot, and may help, just remember to reset the windows and seats afterwards, if you need any other advice or not sure on the resets please let me know,

Your tracker uses the bluetooth assuming you still have that up and runningrick, i ve disconnected the battery and left if for 10 minutes. re connected and no joy, still the same, the radio is still cutting out. the bluetooth blue light lights up when ignition is turned and when i switch off a amber light comes on briefly.?
also ive reset the windows, the passanger side has reset fine but the drivers side refuses to , i ve done it 3 times now !, things are not going well today
any ideas on both issues?
