Alternative colours

There have been a few posts with pictures of lightning silver V12V. I've got a mako V12V but lightning was my second choice. Just out of curiosity - what have you got (model and colour) and what was your second choice?

Second choice was Morning Frost. Actually it was first choice but it was sold by the time I got back to the dealership.

Second choice would probably have been Ghillies Green.

I'm thinking about joining you here, and the first preference is a V8V in California Sage with Bitter Chocolate.

First choice - one of the dark silvers with black leather.

Second choice - one of the other dark silvers with black leather.

I never was very imaginative

Actually I could have been persuaded by the right car in Morning Frost - I think it looks pretty special on a V12V (with colour coded bonnet vents of course).

Not got a Vantage because in the end I bought a DB Mk III but I had a V8V on order in Aston Racing Green with cherry red leather (Chancellor Red?) with yellow stitching! The idea was like a Dr Martin boot! Not everyone's taste but I wasn't too concerned about re-sale...

When I go on the AM colour charts, half of those listed here do not appear. Is there a comprehensive AM colour chart somewhere ??

I must say though, Johnny Boy, I am used to you talking about geo, mapping, torque, tubi etc - men's stuff, you know.

Bit out of kilter this girly colour thread. I'm afraid you're just asking for the funboys like Shmee and Georgeous H to post

It changes year to year hence the problem. Plus they'll do any one-off colour, other marque's colours or historic ones so there could never be a definitive list!

Makes sense, though the current list is very sparse on the 'green' front.

I'm not sure Chiltern Green has been offered since the DB7, but my car is that very hue and I have also seen a Vanquish in it. And by God, it looked good
