My wheels are dull they do have laquar on them as i can see in the odd spoke its coming off.

The car is 4 yars old i assume the wheels were shiny and not a matt finish as they are now.

Have 4 years of wheel acid dulled these at least i hope so hence the post?

If not i will get them refurbed along with new tyres over winter in antricite.

Just spent 2 hours polishing her to be let down with the wheels.

Maybe just time for a refurb, 4 years isn't a bad run if the car is used all year round? If not a big job then might get them done all in for £200, can't argue with that.

get them refurbed, then coat them with something like Gtechniq wheel armour

then only use regular soap n water on them in future to wipe clean

The 4.3 wheels are not smooth any way
If they are looking "off" I'd get them powder coated and the seal them for a better finish

Yeah I'd agree with that. The original finish on the 7 spokes was rubbish and on the inside really pitiful. Rgime just stuck to them due to the finish being almost "sintered". Back of the spokes started flaking on ours after about 2 years.
Got them refurbed by AM WS at just below 3 years under warranty.

Since then they've been done again by Lepsons who I wholeheartdely recommend.
They now clean easily with a sponge, soap n water

Looking forward to seeing the pics. I was there for two days last week and i saw a few boxes of refurbed wheels stacked about, so im guessing they get quite a few through their doors.

Sadly, the quality of your wheels were crap from the factory and are prone to staining, going dull and having brake dust embedded in them. Getting them sorted is a very wise move.

That is a great looking car, they have done a good job on your wheels.
I like the colour combination, really suits it with the roof down.

Excuse to post up pictures of refurb'ed wheels? Got mine back yesterday. Look standard, but are are slightly brighter than standard. Was going to post before and after pictures, but pictures not showing the difference. Did think about trying a very dark grey / graphite but wouldn't look right with Meteroite unless I went for the full Burntout Stealth Mode.
Wheels refurb'ed in Surrey, dropped the car off, picked up two days later. No damage to sensors, car looked after etc.
