V8 Vantage - radio preset buttons

Have a 2007 V8 Vanatage - the radio preset buttons (ie the 1,2,3 etc buttons)have become totally smudged. Anyone else have this? How easily is it to get them replaced?

What do you meen by smudged?? Picture??

Smudged? As in the numbers have worn off? They aren't on the buttons are they, but the actual fascia. Or is that just the DB9?

You have to replace the swtchpacks. They cost around £320 each - plus VAT.

Thanks chaps, do you know where from? Dealer says aston don't supply separate buttons need whole front panel???

Theres a guy breaking a 2007 Vantage on ebay with some interesting prices you could try him.

There are two options depending on the color of your center console, Below are the part numbers for an 07MY.

4G43-13D734-DE Switchpack, telephone, platinum,
7G33-13D734-GA Switchpack, telephone, graphite.

Will be interesting to see what your dealer has to say when you given them the part numbers!

Surely they should be replaced for free out of embarassment!!!

How did you get on with this, I'm looking at an 07MY now which has the same issues, was it easy/cheap to get this sorted?

I had this on an Audi A4 I bought - it was one lady owner from new and I decided that it was probably caused by 1) Long fingernails and/or ome kind of make-up or nail varnish remover stuff on her fingers and 2) an inability to make up her fecking mind and know what she wants, hence constant button pressing.
