Love the orange but not a great wrap fan so a bit of a quandry.

Any pics of the inside of a door? - usually a telltale sign of the wrap quality smile

I'm pretty sure it's the other way around, the orange car is being wrapped grey...

This looks to me like the ex-demo AM press car we discussed at length here and was sold around 1 month ago: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... In which case, unsurprisingly it got bought for a bargain by somebody who couldn't take the colour.

But then again I could be completely wrong and it's another grey car that the owner has decided to copy the orange colour from the press car?

I'm confused!

I'd say the roll of Orange vinyl on the floor in the top pic is probably the biggest indication of which round the wrap is!

Haha, I'd agree!!! In my defense, currently suffering from some lovely jet-lag.

I wonder if that's a result of having seen the orange one about and wrapping intentionally to match?

Ooh. Looks good. My only problem with wraps is that I've never known anybody thats removed one. Did your mate get any guarantees around damage free removal? If I keep my v8v I may spice it up a little with a wrap - Meteriote silver is a safe colour for resale but it isn't half dull!

Hello Jockman, if you like the colour then why do you care how it got there? Genuine question.

Slarti - I refer you to your previous posting vis-a-vis potential damage to the donor substrate. Genuine answer smile

I think the orange looks superb!.

Infact it's probably the best colour I've seen on a Vantage.

Jock lman - I have never questioned the legitimacy of your posts. You are a beacon sir. So basically, there's a high/low/unknown possibility that you'll damage thd lacquer/paint during removal?

Slarti me old mucka, if we were discussing a £200 kid's toy then wrap me up and throw away the key.

We are, however, talking about a £90k car and for that reason I would not be prepared to take this risk.

I also think the look is artificial - too glossy in many ways - which is only noticeable when you see it in the flesh.

A very easy process to get wrong too.

BUT - your money, your decision smile
