Are there any clearance issue with taking a V12 on the chunnel?

I believe that the passage is much wider on the bottom floor than the upper floor. Avoid the upper floor to reduce the risk of kurbing your alloys?

Eurotunnel are fine with sportscars - they generally see something expensive and point you at the lower deck. The worst bit is the lead up to the tunnel with the speed bumps. Approach from an angle, and you'll be fine.

Book as overheight vehicle ,plenty of room in the carriages and no kerbing to catch your alloys

I have not kerbed the alloys in the lower compartment (yet), but you have a good point. Should I add a bicycle rack to my DB9 when booking?

I'm nervous now. Going Eurotunnel this weekend for the first time ever in my new DB9. I didn't note anything on the booking either!

If they don't direct you to the lower level, politely ask. It's worked for me.

Go down the overheight lane - unless its very busy they will usualy have no issue. I always book overheight now as have been moaned at for being in the o/h lane without a booking but in fairness only when the train has been busy. Can be a little intimidating being sandwiched between 2 coaches but otherwise best place on the train IMHO

You can specify different types of vehicles in the description box on the booking form. I thought a car with cycles on the roof would qualify as a high vehicle. Your DB9 will be ok in the lower car deck. The kerbs on the pedestrian walkways each side of the cars have soft plastic or rubber coatings.
