Anyone know how to remove/replace the damper on the glovebox of a 2005 DB9 ?

hello,
had trouble with mine , has the string from the damper come off the lid so it just falls open?, if it has get a torch and have a look you can see the plastic tab and re connect it ( it is awkward!!)
if you need further info contact 3200gt he very kindly sent me a copy of the db9 parts list its in there under instrument panel , there is a digram of the glove box and damper.

Did you get the damper sorted? As I have the same problem but can't even see where the string is supposed to connect, any help would be appreciated.

Check your emails I've just sent you the entire DB9 info. If it isn't in there I don't have it!
