Probably a bit wishful thinking but after reading about the combination button press to park the windscreen wipers, does the MY2010 Vantage fitted with Premium Audio have a similar secret to be able to listen to the radio without having the ECU in the dash?

You could always get a portable radio, some of them are a wind-up

Not that I've ever found.

But I have to ask - why would you need to?!

Simples - I like to listen to music when giving the car some TLC in the form of polish etc. I'm not keen on leaving the ECU in while walking backwards and forwards for the stuff for each stage because the car would be easily accessible from the road. All of my other cars have had this feature, it was a long shot really but windscreen wiper tip to park them got my hopes up there might be a similar trick for the audio. No worries.

Not sure about the Aston, but on some of my other cars you can press the power button shortly after removing the key so that the radio stays on. Might be worth a try.
