From another thread a few of us have decided to have a beverage or two next Wednesday.

Start point: City Boot above Moorgate Underground @ 1pm

Would have come but I'll be in Monaco; and after that I'll no longer be working in the Moorgate area - good and bad parts to that.

Whats Monaco like? Me and good lady are considering a visit in May/June.

That's what I do; huge bill in Coca-Cola and Sundaes but totally worth it.

Sure you can as I did o/s Hotel de Paris. But it's soon whipped off to the underground

Sounds like a good idea. That way we won't need to wear a banana or suchlike in our lapel.

Anyone have any sway there?

I'm easy either way. I assume if you book the room you have to eat as well as drink beer

ETA

A mate of mine tells me its right next to a Crossrail site so it may be a little noisey. Anyone confirm this?
