Sat on the loo flicking through an old copy of 'evo' (March 2006) this morning biggrin when I stumbled upon a short article about the Aston Martin DB9 Sportmodificato. Seems it was a one off car created for a presumably wealthy customer. Doesn't seem to be any chassis or setup mods but works service have created a bespoke interior, different diamond turned wheels, fitted a vanquish exhaust and modified rear valance to accomodate it.

Yeti - thought you may be interested in the rear valance from reading some of your threads.

Quick google turned up this.

Was for sale recently. I believe AM used this as a practice for the interior of the Casino Royale DBS.

ETA: Still is, advertised for not much more than it was first time: http://classicmobilia.co.uk/carsforsale.aspx

Beautiful car...but I would not be prepared to depart with such a some of money for it.

Bespoke personalisation is a risky strategy when selling on, though not risky at all if keeping.

The owner has pioneered a lot that was to be encompassed in future models, and so we all benefit from these ideas.

I do however think that the ethos and philosophy of this car has been superceded by the DBS smile
