Sarah Maynard bits - easy to fit?
Discussion
When us chaps met yesterday for some refined Southern drinks and banter it was confirmed that the Sara Maynard bits are a push on type so just pull off the old knob and slip on the new one. Is the gear knob any more involved? Do I need tools or is it an easy switch? And the column stalks?
Can't give any advice with knobs
but I have just fitted the indicator stalks to my V12V and they were a doddle to fit (I have the instructions if you really want them but not necessary). The parts are precision designed to just push fit on the stalks. The buttons just have a self adhesive base and then the cover pushes into place and holds it all together.

A well-known specialist was unable to fit mine, the guy who built it did it in minutes!
It's not a
screw on type like a Halfords jobbie, think the gaitor needs to come off as well?
WELL worth it, feels so much nicer to drive
