New V8V Owner

Hi All,

I picked up my new (to me) V8 Vantage this weekend and couldn't be happier. Its everything I imagined and a whole lot more.

Anyway, I just wanted to say a big thank you to everybody on the forum for both your wealth of knowledge and answering my questions. I learnt a huge amount from the many previous posts that helped me find and buy a great car with confidence.

I've always been a fan of red calipers, especially with red rear lights. Very sporty looking!

Since Mr. Hall has once again insinuated his knobs (and plaques) into yet another thread I'll add another gratuitous photo. I started with the stereo & satnav knobs, but after installing them I found my climate controls then looked out of place. Now I've got the "full Tony" on the dash.

Lovely car, looks just right with those red calipers and rear lights! Recognised your usernames, always nice when someone comes on, asks questions, gets answers and then buys a car, great stuff for the forum

O/T - Toooooonyyyyy, I need some new plaques too! Will send an email. Probably wait for the dyno results and will ask BR if I can use their logo for it to go alongside the Aston one

Thank you for the warm welcome. The colour combination is definitely my favourite although I did toy with the idea of Toro Red for a while.

I have already been in contact with Tony and with my birthday coming round the corner I may just treat myself

Have only just heard of the sill plates though, does anybody have any photos?
