I remember reading about it during the build, a wonderful end to a DB7 Vantage! Cripes, didn't realise it'd be that much money though! Wish it was a manual...

Not always a fan of replicas but as it's based on a DB7 chassis it seems strangly OK. I would go as far as to say that if this kit was offered for less money, say with a fibreglass body, I would be interested. Find a bent DB7 Vantage and do this to it... brilliant!

Want as well cloud9

I'd agree with that. Normally don't like replicas as I feel they cheapen the original. I'd quite happily have one of these though. Reminds me of the 300SL with SL55AMG running gear smokin

That is automotive porn......................

Hate replicas, but this is not your usual capri with a 70's vantage kit or crappy toyota with a DB9 grille on it.....

Stunning...

Ha ha ha yes.. It all went really well.... After 2-3 months of planning organising, time runs, location finding etc.. etc... I got to say it was all worth every bit of effort...

As the day unfolded I got to enjoy all that I had arranged and it was amazing to say the least, she had no idea about any of it...She was just lost for words... And She still wells up now when telling people..

Now just checking out Tuscany for a venue for the big day biggrin

Mrs Burntout can now be confirmed as!! Mrs Burntout.. hehe

Cheers Lewis...

Congrats matey, well done, happy for you both!!

I've got a 1 carat Canadian diamond mounted in Platinum sat in the draw just waiting for this weather to end frown Have been told it must not be a car related ask, hence didn't do it in Monte Carlo as planned cry

Glad to hear love is blossoming -congratulations

Back to the car - it looks fantastic on the outside - only Zagato I like - but the interior is in desperate need of a motolite steering wheel that DB7 air bag holder is soooo wrong

Thanks Lewis.... Ring sounds nice....

Not car related biggrin Can see her point, I think that like Mrs Burntout (Ruth) it was a day she wanted centre of attention..

Fingers crossed the weather picks up soon for you... Have you got any ideas then of how your going to ask???

Perhaps Mrs Yeti reads the Aston section of PH, and that was actually a very subtle marriage proposal? biggrin

Congratulations to you both btw smile

I prefer the scratch built replica that Evanta also build to order - the wheelarch flares look a bit clumsy to my eyes.

Probably nip round the road to Richmond one evening. La Buvette (her favourite local restaurant), stroll along the river (when it's not bursting it's banks) or into the park and see if a likely spot comes up. No pressure yet smile

Pretty tame compared to your 'man from Milk Tray' stuff biggrin
