This is to say a massive thankyou to Ian Dewsnap (aka ipd57)
He responded to my question in the forum about Aston car covers leaving fluff on a Volante roof and advising me to use a liner.
Then to my amazement he sent me a new liner and will not accept anything for it or the postage that he laid out.
There are not many people like that out there nowadays so thanks again Ian if you read this.
Hope your car wins at the Concours AMOC on Sunday by the way, shame I won`t be able to make.
Was hoping for first prize in the filthiest convertible category :0)

Generosity knows no bounds with many car enthusiasts.

When I owned a Jag XJ40 Sov, I had it broken into and the thieving toe rags had away with my stereo system, the problem was they broke the rear quarterlight to get in and these are a complete unit with stainless frame included.

I was having trouble getting the right one and a very nice owner from the USA offered to send me one gratis.

I declined as I feel uncomfortable accepting freebies of private individuals, and ended up repairing it using the original frame.
