Trolley jack

Guys, is a 1.25 tonne trolley jack strong enough to lift my V12V or should I go for 2 Tonnes to be on the safe side.?

Just looking to remove wheels 1 at a time for cleaning ...

Go for a 2 ton jack, you might need it to raise more than one wheel at a time.

Just in case you are not aware, you will need a low profile jack like this one (so the lifting arm does not foul the cill) - it worked for me

As above. You will need a low profile jack mate. If you do end up with a normal one, you can roll up onto something like a peice of wood and then have the clearance to get it under.

Thanks folks... Have bought a low profile jack from machinemart... Not too bad really. Now just need to make sure I'm jacking in the right place.

Unless they've had a change of policy the trolley jack I got from Machinemart had no lube on any of the 20 or so pivots. Wondered why it was so damn hard to lift compared to others I'd used.
It's worth the time to pull it apart and grease/oil it up.
