Roadster paint code

Following on from my rookie bumper scraping incident, I have just returned from taking the car to my usual bodywork guy and it looks like an easy enough repair, but... we can't find the paint code information. There is usually a sticker somewhere on the car with the paint code information, but I cannot find it anyway. I have looked in every likely place.

Or will I have to contact the dealer to get it?

It never occured to me I might need tools to get at it! Wish I hadn't pulled out all the trim in the boot now! Although I did find a pound coin. Score.

The paint code was lurking under the metal tray whose function will forever remain unknown. An awful lot of Torx bolts to undo.

Interesting topic.

Is it true then that ALL Tungsten Silver Astons have the same color code (AST1262D) and my Hammerhead silver has the color code AST5085D like all other AMs in this color?

Because I remember that with some (German) car brands, the same commercial color name, not always leads to the same "official" color code, or is this not true for AM?

BTW, a professional body shop has a "color detector" that scans the paint, and comes up with the exact (official!) color code, very neat!

There are three different codes for Tungsten Silver depending on the year. For Hammerhead there is only one, presumably because it was only introduced from 2009 onwards.
All this info comes from the DuPont site which is highlighted in the FAQs - one of those stickies that nobody looks at

No, I did look at the Dupont codes and there were three for Tungsten Silver. However the years didn't correspond to my 2009 car. There was only 2002 and 2011 or something. So in case of doubt, the paint code sticker is king.
