OK, no point to this post, just an excuse to post some pictures (yes I know I am no photographer!). But, an Aston outside Lord Astors ex country retreat looks great.

Having pulled up for a long child free weekend away with my wife the hotel's staff trotted out to the car to collect our bags.

Sitting down for pre dinner drinks we were surprised to see other guests arriving and struggling through reception with their bags.

Another layer of pleasure to owning an Aston Martin!

Ah yes. Twice at Hanbury Manor (convenient for my cousins parties) we have been encouraged to leave the V8V directly out front rather than tucking it away down the very far end of the car park and walking back. That was after they moved a Jagwar out of the way to make room.
Next morning came outside to find a group of people scoring our blue V8V against a white Gallardo and a rosso F430. Seems the V8V was the winner.

When we stayed there, my DB9 was parked next to a DB7. The next morning when I woke up the car park was full of Astons from the 60s through to the 90s there for a rally.

It was clean when we arrived! Dust gets kicked up by all the cars

I think you'll find that's just the angle the photo was taken from. It also makes it look like the car is steering to the right, but in reality its heading straight on.

Away for two nights with Aston Annie - so yes crammed full in the boot!
