Whilst our southern brethren have been waving Union Jacks in the rain Scotland has been bathed in sunshine and I have been out with the roof down listening to the growl and small boys shouting ' nice car mister ' - it's the looks ( car's not bad either) that make the Aston special - who would want to be the guy responsible for the next Vanquish - you can only get it wrong ?

No point - euphoria brought on by the rare combination of sunshine and the positive experience of driving a beautiful car that others seem to appreciate reminded me why I bought it and why the current looks will be difficult to improve on..And what's your point ??

Just not in the sunshine today!Sad as it sounds i've looked forward all week to cleaning my Vantage.
I have found a further added bonus of ownership is applying wax to the curves and lines of your Aston. I thought I'd try Swisswax, Best of Show. There are better waxes out there for durability, depth of shine and value but the aroma, ease of application and polishing is something that is not always appreciated.

ng rain and got it absolutely filthy. If it is lucky it'll be cleaned sometime next week

The clue is in the title - the Aston experience is all about how the car looks and people's reaction to those looks . having got that so right the new car everybody is posting about ( to be called Vanquish we are told ) has a hell of a job trying to follow the current cars. Sorry this was obviously all so unfathomable from the post !
