Considering V8VR upgrade

Hi,

I am considering upgrading my 18 month old V8VR to either a Vantage S Roadster (MY12) or a V12V (MY11+). The current car is my first Aston and I have been really pleased with it. It still leaves me with a big grin every time I drive it. The only (very) minor irritations have been the SS creep mode, lack of any hill start assist and the brakes could be better.

Would be interesting to hear from anyone who has made (or is contemplating) a similar change.

I made the same move as mikey. Mine was an early 2010 V8 Roadster which was as close as you could get to the S when I changed - it had sports pack suspension, lightweight seats, etc and all the available cosmetic upgrades like the side sills & the clear rear lenses - it was effectively an N420 (which came out shortly after) in all but name & the sports exhaust - it was called something like showcase or special edition, but can;t remember the actual name
But I still changed to the S roadster and the difference in gearbox alone was enough for me - everything else was an added bonus - it tells you all that you need to know that despite having such a late 4.7, I still changed
I'll hopefully be changing to a V12VR assuming it happens but still maintain the S is the marginally sweeter, better balanced car, especially in anything but perfect conditions of weather & road surface however I'm just seduced by the power of the V12.....
