Hidden bits n bobs

Well it's just over a year since I got my Vantage.... So this afternoon has been spent giving it a prope spruce up from top to bottom, inside and out....

All leather treated, carpets vacuumed, gass cleaned, exhaust tips polished, wheels cleaned and paintwork cleaned and polished...

I'm bloody knackared.....

I started off on the inside, and although I've owned the car for a year.... I found this lot under the passenger seat

A magnetic GB badge very useful on a vantage , 2 packets of mints, a parking permit, a pair of glasses, a fuel receipt, but best of all..... Take note Jockman. A 2p piece


I then vacuumed and cleaned all the leather and glass inside




Then the wheels


And the exhausts and side strakes




Then the whole car







Even if I say so myself, I'm rather pleased with my efforts.... And for a 6 year old car... It looks mighty fine

Trouble is..... If he'd found the 2p under the seat, that's the last I'd have seen of him

Plus he'd have eaten all the mints

What did you use to clean the exhaust btw? I tried Tony's method of using coffee stirrers to get in the tiny gap but it didn't work (or I ran out of patience)

What's the morrison's receipt for? I have a couple of things need returning there so I'm hoping that thanks to a bizarre coincidence you will be able to help me out and while you're at it those mints look delicious.....

Just autosol and a rag..... It's really quite a simple task.... That most normal folk can manage without to much difficulty

The receipt was for petrol, and it was £0.83p per litre

I've explained to you before Jockman, 2 scots fighting over a 2p piece is how copper wire was invented..... I don't need any copper wire...... So I've knocked the 2p off the purchase price of the car..... Which means it only cost me £xxxxx.98 instead of £xxxxx.00. Win win

That's right... If I remember correctly, you said they look awesome, and much better than those crappy wheels on that boring fart George's car..

But they have a really really small gap around them that I can't fit my finger in!



I can just clean the tip with a cloth but that would leave a line of clean/dirty that I could see, and I don't want that
