DB9 Radiator or XK8 Radiator

DB9 Rad on back order, a little investigation leads to the old shape XK parts book.... are they the same? Anybody know?

nope...different hose connections...but have seen rad on flea bay...

Hi Just found it on eBay, its second hand and knowing (now I have removed my rad) what sort of a job it is I'm reluctant to find a used one....

If your one is now out, why not get it recored ?

Plenty of places offer this these days.

No reason why a properly re-cored rad shouldn't be as good as new

Well, my new radiator has arrived from Aston ahead of schedule and upon unpacking I could not believe my eyes....

The radiator that has come in Aston packaging is a complete hand made aluminum one off type, not two plastic ends and an aluminum core that has been swaged on... It is a lovely TIG welded unit I will try and upload some pics.

Not that im bothered as it even looks expensive but....... why?

Yeah, a big piece of debris had hit it and bent and cracked it! so it was leaking, just fitting the new one now..... what a job!!! Grrrr

Nearly done, one headlight and airbox to go. Just got the A/C gassed back up this afternoon after borrowing a A/C gassing system. I must admit that this job is not an easy one. Has anyone else fitted a radiator on a DB9 before?
