Tips on Black Forest Drives?

Might anyone have any good tips on nice roads in the Black Forest as it's one area that I've not really explored.

A good recommendation of a lunch stop is also welcome.

The main tourist road is the 500 "Schwarzwaldhochstrasse". From CH you cross at Waldshut and pick up the 500 there. You take in two pretty lakes - Schluchsee and Titisee going north. I would then be tempted to turn off the 500 to Sankt Margen and Sankt Peter, after Sankt Peter take the Kandeltal down to Waldkirch and have lunch in Freiburg. My recommendation is the Hausbrauerei Feierling for a nice beer garden..a couple of minutes walk from the Schlossberg car park. If the intention is just a day trip, I would make my way back towards CH by going up to Schauinsland (take in the viewing platform) then Todtnau, Todtmoos and finally Bad Säckingen for a look at the wooden bridge before crossing back to CH. For a longer excursion the 500 continues northwards to Baden Baden.
