battery replacment

I'm having problems with abs warning lights etc, so I was thinking of changing the battery as its over 5 years old any how. Any recommendation as to make type etc would be helpful.

Use the Bosche battery that goes in the DB7. That's what I put in my V8 Vantage last month when mine went. As advised by my dealer.

Lot better, half the size and weight and only £90ish. Even better is that it has a 3 year warranty where as the standard AM one only has a 1 year warranty which is c£250ish.

Bosche 93 I think it's called however please double check.

In my DB9 I used a VARTA which is the OEM maker. I have used VARTA on all my cars whenever a battery is required and never been let down. I can leave the DB9 for weeks and it will always start up.

Nope. Battery must be the most secure thing on the car as it's held in by a big metal strap (bolted down) and then two double point brackets, which are bolted with four bolts into another bracket.

All brackets adjust to whatever size of battery you put in.

Bosch / Varta / Exide all seem to be good. Definitely source your own (try Euro Car Parts / the ebay link above) rather than the overpriced dealer one.
