I do believe that we are doing rather well! Wish I was there, The only place I can follow the race is on Aston Martin's own site. It will be So good for the brand if we do well. Can anyone tell me where else I can follow the action. I don't have Sky. My new i pad needs its owner to sort himself out. My computer seems to have issues which can only be resolved by a trip to the tip. Molly thinks that I am turning into a Geek!

You have to pay for it - something like a fiver a month or 3 quid if you sign up for a year. It's good though, you get all MotoGP, WSB and BSB. Plus a load of crap like cycling and tennis.George H said:

Didn't know I paid for Eurosport..guess it gets 'lost' in the monthly sky subs that I pay to help out the Murdock Empires legal costs

Yes I know its got roll cages etc, but the speed it hit the barriers was impressive.

Well done to the team - about 3000 miles flat out.
Too late for this year, but the following might be helpful for the 2013 race.
TELEVISION
About £50 for a satellite TV dish and decoder (sometimes Lidl or B&Q, or normally Maplin), will get you the free German Eurosport channel. They showed the entire race. Astra 19 satellite.
INTERNET

When practice or the race is taking place, find the 'live timing' link. You should then have an extra TV feed (choice of several this year) and the timing information for all competing cars. With two PC monitors you could have full screen TV, and the timing screen as well.
Unless you speak German, turn the TV sound off, but have the website sound running through a surround sound system. It's as if you are there. Well almost.
Possibly biased, but I thought the Aston Martin Vantage V8 sounded best.
When the leading cars lapped the Vantage, you could then appreciate just how quick they are.
- Leading the class for a while.
- Class podium finish.
- Class fastest lap.

I remember childishly high-fiving pommehogster when about 2hrs into the race the Brisish announcer came on and said "I thought it was worth mentioning, but currently Aston Martin are leading both classes of GT"
