Clear light upgrades

Following on from my previous posts of small cosmetic changes I have swopped the rear lenses for clear ones.
Again some people love,some people hate but hopefully the picture will allow an individual to see the difference on a Black car and choose what they would prefer.
Sorry about my number plate but if anyone wants to buy it make me an offer.
My mother must of hated me when I was born to call me Tarquin :0(

The clear lights look good. Don't worry about your name too much, I got landed with a girls name. Not sure what my parents were smoking.....

A shame we have to keep the red reflectors as it is the only red on the rear after the clear lights are fitted. I had them fitted to my Meteorite V8V and they really make the car look much better and cleaner from the rear.

I like the look of your DB9 after all your work.

The clear lights do look good on the darker colours.

Nothing wrong with Tarquin as a name.

This coming from a man that has a whole page dedicated to him in "The Definitive guide to Aston Martin" Page 236 for those not in the know. Great read and the Bible for buying an Aston.

I think it's a legal requirement for the MOT and you can get stick on ones for that time. I wouldn't colour them white, but I suspect you could wrap/paint them so they aren't as visible.

It is a legal requirement and forms part of the MOT test...

But proper stick on reflectors at MOT time (red) will ensure you get through the test.

I think they work well on a black car, i have red brake calipers so the reflectors match that quite well............

AS for the reflectors, it is a requirement for the MOT, but they do miss things like that so chance your arm. If i does fail the reflector must be of an approved type.

I am far from posh i`m afraid.
Dragged up on the streets of South London but managed to drag myself out of the ghetto.Now living in posh old Beaconsfield.

I may well consider wrapping the reflectors as I have done with the chrome and then expose them at the time of the mot.

On any other site Tarks, pictures of men showing their rears would be a bit .....well.....weird !!

Just to say that the clears can also be effective on the Silver Cars.

BTW if you wrap your reflectors you will have NO problem at MOT stage so don't worry.

So long as you wrap them in red

Mine 9 is going into Trinity next week for 3 days for service and the clear light upgrade also I think it looks great on black
