I'm liking the look of this car. The exterior colour is quite traditional Aston and nicely understated.
If anybody can pass on any info it would be much appreciated.

For this feature alone I would jump in with both feet (Body coloured bumpers)
I hate Astons with black plastic bumpers...

I really like the colour. Is it me or is the front bumper badly colour matched?

Looks like it just the reflection of the gravel vs. the house - the front of the panel above the bumper is also reflecting a bit of gravel and looks the same

Funnily enough ours is the same colour! Different interior though. I suspect that one was on the production line when we visited Gaydon. We shamelessly copied the colour as it stood out as unusual.
It's been well received everywhere we've taken it. Have fun looking

Come on chaps. I thought you Aston types would have a much more keen eye for the details. The difference in the paint shade in the above posted picture is a function of the light coloured gravel on the driveway and the somewhat poor ligh in the pictures darkening the rest of the paint. You can see a small patch at the leading edge of the wing panel too. if you look at the other pictures the paint appears to be perfect.
Any real information on this car, post plumber style sucking through teeth, "oooooh, that doesn't look good" type comments?

If you like it then don't worry about the poor colour match(Picture 3 top right shows it again) I would haggle very hard on the price as I have just bought a very similar age and specification car for a AM dealer for that price with their warranty included.

Picture 3 also shows the same "poor colour match" half way up the door and rear quarter panel. It's the lighting and the colour of the gravel on the driveway giving this effect. Please, lets move on from this. I'm after history, is he a member on here, maybe a member of AMOC. Has anyone been to see this car etc, not conjecture over reflections and tricks of the light.
Anyone with anything sensible rather than more teeth sucking?

Sorry OP, no help - but it's a lovely colour (was admiring Peter's car at Hever) and decently priced for the miles.

It may be a ste colour, with tragic colour matching, lol, but I like it.
I'm sure someone on here must have been to see it or know something about it.
Are there any significant problems I should look out for?
I've trawled most of the Aston forum and these V8s seem to be pretty reliable on the whole.
I'm not too worried about some wear in the suspension as it would be going for the full fat BR treatment fairly soon after purchase.
Any info will garner a pint in return at a future run/meet

It only looks ste through those rose tinted contact lenses you wear. I was surprised you could blink they were so thick.

Sorry Jim, the only info I can give you is that it's a pre MY07 in a non standard (but in my opinion very nice) colour.
If as is suspected the bumper has been resprayed, it would be nice to know why. And also how they thought they could get away without blowing over the surrounding panels!

Pre MY07 meant the original seats. IIRC auto-dimming rear view mirror also became an option at MY07.
Other than that there was naff all difference so far as I'm aware.
Check that it's had updates to the gear linkage. There are numerous other threads on what to look out for.
