Thinking of re=trimming seats in V8V

I had one of the panels re-trimmed today and saw some of the work the shop did and was so impressed that I was thinking of having the seats in my 2006 re-trimmed away from just the fairly bland beige to something a little more dramatic….the rest of the interior is black.

I was looking around and saw the Utube video of the new Vanquish and thought maybe something along those lines but with a two tone black and beige with maybe a white or contrasting stitching. See the picture below and where the leather is sculpted/padded having it in black and the res beige or vica versa…

Anyone have any good interior shots or thoughts for the seats, or things they may have seen or thought about?

Do you have any idea how much it costs to get the seats retrimmed?

No Bob…going to find out when I get home next week…I was really impressed with the work I saw that they did and thought I would check it out…still looking for other ideas if anyone has any….

You know.. I was looking at a new Vanquish seat the other week. All sat there out of the car on a stand.

I did everything except take a photo ;-/

I can say though that the leather is VERY soft.. lovely feel to it.

Unsure of other models but these have airbags in them too.

Current models do too, as long as not specced with lightweight seats. It's why lightweight seats cannot be sold in the US.

Lightweight seats can't be sold in the US because they haven't been crash tested, not because of lack of airbags in the seat. The vast majority of cars sold in the US do not have airbag equipped seats, and it is not a requirement.
