You Guys n Girls all gave me sound and positive advice about 10 months ago about joining this amazing marque, and i am glad and incredibly excited to report that i will join the Aston Martin fold this Saturday when i collect my Vantage S roadster-what a machine !
I know the rules about photos, and will sort asap.
Unfortunately it is due to rain Saturday, so if anyone can arrange for it not to, i'd be very grateful !!

Richard, may I be the fifth to congratulate you on a splendid purchase.

I've read your notes and it would appear that I may have hijacked your last thread.

Many apologies, and I assure you I am a changed man now smile

Kris, that is an outrageous remark about Mr J. Do you have any evidence to substantiate this claim?

Anyway welcome to the club, I hope the rain stops long enough to get the roof down and that you can get some pictures up.

Thanks for all the interest shown in my new purchase,

Having previously had a manual E46 M3 and more recently an SMG M3, i promised myself i would only ever buy a manual Aston Martin which was all i had driven until a salesman asked me to try the new 7 speed SS, 30 minutes later a deposit was put down on an Onyx roadster.

Xtra toys being -
19'' 10 spoke forged alloy wheels
bright finish grille
mem seats and mirrors
700w sounds
Piano Black int pack - very nice !!
auto dim r/view mirror,wind deflector
black calipers,front parking sensors
mag silver mesh pack, heated seats,
bluetooth,ipod connector
and big smiles FOC

Cant wait

Rick - photos to follow honest

Amazing new Rick!

Having test driven the S auto I agree it is a "vaste" improvement over the old Auto (although some may argue that wouldn't have been difficult as that kick with the old auto just really annoyed me when I test drove it - you know it is bad when the salesman goes "oh that kick...that's just to show you are involved in driving a sporty car" - I don't think so). I am sure the newer auto it will mean less clutch wear (depending how you drive it!).

Great options to - was there much haggling or did you just let your heart lead!?

Now you only need to do a sun dance so that you can drive it with the perfect road conditions when it arrives!

Rick - love your options.

The Bright Finish Grille should go well with the Onyx.

I say that as someone who is actively seeking a dark grille and dark bonnet / side strake mesh now to contrast with my Tungsten Silver smile
