08 plate Tungsten V8V Roadster front grill

Front grill is looking a little faded. Has anyone changed the colour on their Tungsten V8V or preferably Tungsten V8VR and can show me a picture so i can see what it looks like.

I'm not sure whether to have it done the same colour again or maybe a darker charcoal colour or get it done in Black ?

Any thoughts on where i could get this done without going to the AM Dealer ?

I'm located in the Camberley area.

Now I've done the Geo, new rear tyres, pads, plates, door sills etc I'm looking to darken my front grille, bonnet vents and side strake mesh. Also just received a contact for a bit of powder on the wheels.

I just went through this exercise and did mine in black. One week later I removed it (took 10X as long to remove) to keep it std. Some day I will just buy a new grill. The blacked out grill just made the car look less special IMO. See below

Thanks, think I'll go with looking to refresh the grill in its standard colour.

My front grill was chipped, the powder coating from original was appaling underneath each slat you could see the base aluminium. I was going to get the grill blasted and power coated but over the weekend rubbed the grill down and simply re sprayed with paint from Halfords to match the original colour. Now looks new and simply a case of a quick touch up if it gets chipped again.

I was looking at swapping the grill for the Aston Chrome finish but £500 not worth it as the grill is not secure.

I laquered the final finish but not taken any photos as yet.

Can you chrome aluminium?
The verticals are plastic

It's not chromed it's polished aluminium

Not a fan to be honest Pete, I far prefer the 'regular' DBS. The Carbon and Ultimate editions look like they're aimed solely at arabs or footballers imo with all the unnecessary, chavvy stuff that they have that someone at Aston has used to try and make them appear different to a standard DBS - like the carbon lights, black grille/exhausts etc. I do like the interior on the Ultimate edition though
