How odd indeed? I wonder if it is because you were hosting one stage of the meeting at a dealers location and you mentioned their website - thus it was deemed advertising???? I think it was clear to people here however that you have no connection with them and it was just a venue.



Anyway the location was probably a little far for me to pop over from yorkshire on an ah-hoc meet, but if you do any a little futher towards the white rose boundary Im certainly interested.

Depends which Mod is doing the rounds from what I've gathered over the last few months since Mr G's thread was removed.

One Mod is benign, the other has a God complex.

I may have mentioned a dealer in my post, but as you rightly pointed out I do not work for them and it is merely a venue, I also did not post their website details.

As I pointed out in my post above.. the reasons for having a post removed are clearly outlined in the rules.. none of which I broke!

Either reply to the email you were sent (as I have done a couple of times when having threads deleted) or post in the 'website feedback' in the main section of general gassing. Mods live in there.

After some late drop-outs for the factory tours, I posted a 'does anyone want to come to the AM factory?' question in GG. It was removed because PH got annoyed they hadn't been consulted about a 'PH' trip to the AM factory. I understand why my Sarah Maynard post was removed (and then reinstated) but that one made no sense. However, I was able to discuss it with them at least.

GTDB7, you are right, many members flout minor rules and do not get censored. C'est la vie.
