Now that I've got your attention I can dissapoint and reveal this is a car buying thread 
After meeting up with some "Astonauts", see I'm learning, in Hereford at the weekend and having rather a nice meal in very good company, my mind has been made up. There is a need in my life for a V8 Vantage.
I really don't want the usual greys or blacks and would ideally love a Deep blue. A cheaper car would not be an issue as there is a plan to pack it off to BR for the full "jessica" ASAP.
The real question is with the reputation of the trader selling the vehicle in the link attached:- Would you buy from them?

Don't know anything about the trader - but its not a LINN HI FI in the Vantage. Extended leather? Fairly sure they all have that. LED daytime lights? Nope just standard sidelights like all Vantages. Suede roof lining? Doubt it - it will be Alcantara - yes i know its man made ' suede' but theres a lot of bull in the advert. Would like to see the full AM history before going to see it i.e has it got all the bills or just a stamped book.

I've emailed this company a few times to discuss the Astons they have (or had) and never get a reply.
My usual questions are relating to things like "has the clutch been changed?", "is is complete AM service history?" and questioning the Linn Hi Fi upgrade...which is not in the Vantage...
You'll notice they deal in a lot of high mileage prestige motors, get a quick turn around and continue on as normal.
Personally I think it's a 'get what you pay for' scenario with this company.
Probably best get an independent AM check on the vehicle first...

I've been and they had very little prep on the cars. They have a load of cheap cars outside and some good stock inside. They had an r8 for example with a cracked bumper and badly scuffed bumper, a Ferrari where they hadn't mentioned it's colour change. I'd treat buying from there like buying private.
I always treat buying from most traders as buying private ( i would rather buy private if im buying from a main dealer or a reputable dealer ) as most of traders just get there cars of private sellers who cant find a buyer or an auction, and most likely do no extra checks on the car and just add a few £££ to the price.
and now websites like autotrader just let anyone make a professional looking website to sell cars and make then look like a trader when really they just trading out of there house ( or in one guys case is office's car park while telling me his boss would kill him if he found out that he was selling cars from the car park)

Cream and blue does look great, I agree.But in 2007 there were no such cars around and I was offered a very very good price on a dealer spec'd new car...there was one in solid blue but it looked more like plastic than leather.
My TVR's interior is cream and blue (I think the blue leather in that looks better than in Astons tbh. Though general fit and finish is obviously far removed)..

My question from the origonal post was really about the trader in question.
I am well aware of their less than saloubrious reputation coming from a modified Jap metal background and literally wondered if anyone would risk an Aston from said vendor.
I have had mail from the previous owner and will be in contact. Also the suggestion of getting a BR Man to tag along as they will be putting much of the car purchased into their skip of many parts sound like a good plan also.
