DB9 Instrument Cluster help please.

Hello all. First post here, I love this forum and have been lurking for a while.
I am having trouble and need help.
(2005 DB9)
The needle on my fuel gauge fell off and was laying in the bottom of the cluster.
I removed the cluster and sent it out for repair where it was promptly lost by Fed Ex !
I found a nice used replacement and installed it. It is not working properly...
IE: none of the needles function at all and the message center and other lights do not work properly.
I am very confident that there is no problem with the cluster itself.
I have tried just about everything I can think of to reset the system. ...still no luck
What can I do to get it working? Please help.
