I love my Vantage

Spent all day driving 450 miles in my Vantage yesterday and loved every minute of it. The pace, grace, noise and sheer fun factor left a smile as broad as you will ever see on my face, now I know why I bought it.

Btw, averaged 17mpg according to the onboard computer; seems pretty good to me.

Sounds like you have had little to no actual fun in yours

quite the opposite really; toured most of Europe, been to LeMans a couple of times, done a couple of track days, thrash it around B roads at weekend, maxxed it out a few times on the autobahn, couple of airfield training days, 1/4 mile runs at brunty

its just the long journeys going places actually bring up the average a lot

..its spent a very tiny % of its time around towns/cities sat in traffic doing 12mpg

...although at 150mph on the autobahn the fuel computer shows 7mpg and its better to cruise about 100-120mph otherwise you end up losing time filling up

My V8S consistently hovers around 21-22mpg even doing 26 on a long run. It does get driven fairly hard, Her 3rd set of rears are being fitted next week, total mileage to date 9860! Fronts to follow soon.

nope, I just love roof off motoring...but the roadster wasnt out when I bought my coupe

avg speed 48mph, avg mpg 17.8

but it was reset at service time a few months ago.....

yeah, serious tyre wear...what you doing with it ...burnouts ?

im just about to put the 5th set of rears on mine, but car has done 6x the mileage

mind you, im still on original clutch too ...I guess I need to go to Santa Pod a bit more often to finish it off
