DB9 Revised Dipstick Length and oil starvation

Sorry to start an idiots guide but being just a little precious with my car could someone let me know the correct length or identification number of the revised dipstick.
I take it everyone is aware of the potential problems with the early long dipsticks that were replaced by shorter ones due to potential oil starvation.
Thanks in anticipation and sorry if this has been done already.

I think the potential oil starvation only applies if you're running slicks at the Nurburgring.

You're unlikely to generate sufficient lateral G-forces going to Sainsburys

Just overfill a little bit

Not true. Can happen during normal driving.

The oil starvation is the result of too low an oil level as a result of too long a dipstick giving a false safe level.

Dipstick part number should read 4G4E-6750-AC if you've got the shorter one in place.

I will start looking at my own dipstick now and see if I am happy with the length.

Do you know which model year this was bought in ?

Based on a similar thread at 6SpeedOnline, VINs up to A10286 were affected (2007-ish maybe?). If your car has had FSA165 done it should be correct. This comes from one of the Aston techs that contributes to that forum.
