80s icon for George... Esprit!

To this, in only 8 years!! Finally it came home with me!




Running in the new 240bhp engine (the max the gearbox will allow) for a few hundred more miles then can open it up. IT's not like anything I have ever driven before, I am LOVING it! Almost laying down in those buckets seats, confy places for elbows, no weight at the front at all and kids point at it just like in the Aston.

31yrs old (the car, not me!) in theory but an 8 year restoration and it is better, faster and stronger than new. So far a very nice stablemate for the DB9, can't see a conflict of when I would drive either of them.

the Lotus looks fantastic Lewis........now get it sold before you blow up the engine .........i think he would like a 612 but will end up with a 456......both great cars and acceptable Fezzas for a gentleman

Full warranty on the engine, hand built from block upwards and uprated throughout. This one won't blow up

You're right, the 456 is the one I want and currently... I don't want to part with the Lotus, it's so much better than I though it would be, just love looking at it if nothing else!

The 911, fast, safe and reliable as it is has become a bit 'meh', everything else is special, and being fast and safe is not enough of a USP. I think that getting chopped in and me finding a bit more for the 456 is the new plan. Mrs Y will >not< be pleased...

i'm not a fan of Ferrari because the main stream cars have such a bad image ....ie mainly driven by over paid stupid footballers or similar......but I think the big front engined V12's dont have that image....the 456 can be had for the same money as a bag of chips......but I fear might cost the same as a decent 2 weeks holiday at Sandy Lane to keep on the road......but hey....you only live once
